Numeri erotici...
Gambasin's artistic curiosity has encountered "Numbers" several times: abstract reality, complex and simple structure at the same time, eternal, infinite, but ephemeral, in search of their
their character and structure.
Numbers have at the same time the dimension of the infinite and that of the everyday, and they are not just a matter of time.
Gambasin tries in his painting to interact with their shapes and angularity.
This research integrates Gambasin's surrealist path on life-death/reality-dream and on the theme of sexuality, which is presented in his work.
Theme of sexuality, which often appears as a blurred background in his works.
But in this case the theme of sexuality emerges strongly because the painter has decided to challenge the immortality of numbers by giving their form a "sexual consistency".
Thus the desecrated (or consecrated) number becomes an erotic support, it becomes in some way the "coat rack" on which to hang sexual organs and erotic gestures.
Strange... and surreal reading of numbers!!!!
This is a surprising personalisation, perhaps echoing a little Arcimboldo, in his use of fruit and vegetables to make faces.
Gambasins künstlerische Neugierde ist immer wieder auf „die Zahlen“ gestoßen: eine abstrakte Realität, eine Struktur, die zugleich komplex und einfach ist, ewig, unendlich, aber vergänglich, auf der Suche nach ihrem Wesen und ihrer Struktur.
Zahlen haben zugleich die Dimension des Unendlichen und die des Alltäglichen, und Gambasin versucht in seiner Malerei, mit ihren Formen und ihren Ecken und Kanten zu interagieren.
Diese Suche ergänzt Gambasins surrealistischen Weg zu Leben-Tod/Realität-Traum und zum Thema der Sexualität, das sich oft als verschwommener Hintergrund in seinen Werken zeigt.
Doch in diesem Fall tritt das Thema der Sexualität besonders deutlich zutage, da der Maler beschlossen hat,die Unsterblichkeit der Zahlen herauszufordern, indem er ihrer Form eine „sexuelle Konsistenz“ verleihen wollte.
So wird die entweihte (oder geweiht) Zahl zum erotischen Träger, sie wird gewissermaßen zum „Kleiderhaken“, an den sexuelle Organe und erotische Gesten gehängt werden.
Eine seltsame... und surreale Interpretation von Zahlen!!!!
Es handelt sich um eine überraschende Individualisierung, die vielleicht ein wenig an Arcimboldo anknüpft,der Obst und Gemüse verwendete, um Gesichter zu gestalten.
La curiosità artistica di Gambasin ha incontrato più volte “I numeri”: realtà astratta,struttura complessa e semplice nello stesso tempo, eterni, infiniti, ma effimeri, alla ricerca del loro carattere e della loro struttura.
I numeri hanno nello stesso tempo la dimensione dell’infinito e quella della quotidianità e
Gambasin cerca nella sua pittura di interagire con le loro forme e le loro spigolosità.
Questa ricerca integra il percorso surrealista di Gambasin su vita-morte/ realtà-sogno e sul tema della sessualità, che si presenta spesso come sfumato sottofondo nelle sue opere.
Ma in questo caso il tema della sessualità affiora prepotente perché il pittore ha deciso di
sfidare l’immortalità dei numeri pensando di dare alla loro forma una “consistenza... sessuale”
Così il numero dissacrato (o consacrato) diventa supporto erotico, diventa in qualche modo
“l’attaccapanni” a cui appendere organi sessuali e gesti erotici.
Strana.. e surreale lettura dei numeri!!!!
Si tratta di una personalizzazione sorprendente nata forse riecheggiando un po’ Arcimboldo,nel suo usare frutta e verdura per realizzare volti.
